CAREDF is a regional partnership between the public and private sectors whose purpose is to improve and promote the economies of Casa Grande, Coolidge, Eloy and Pinal County.  The Union Pacific Railroad - Central Arizonaorganization is funded through memberships from the public and private sectors.  The organization was established in 1984 as an IRS designated 501 (c)(6) non-profit corporation, a business membership organization.

MISSION
CAREDF’s mission is to market the Pinal County region and the communities within to targeted industries and facilitates the relocation or expansion of existing businesses.  CAREDF emphasis is on building the industrial base and increasing the number of employers in the area.  Bringing additional dollars into the community through new jobs and new capital investment in buildings, machinery, and equipment broadens the tax base and increases wealth in all communities. 

SERVICES
The Central Arizona Regional Economic Development Foundation provides services and technical assistance to industries interested in relocating or expanding in central Arizona, including: confidential consultations, site location information and assistance, customized research on specific business questions, representation in zoning and building permit approval process, private and public financing and job training assistance, support of local business expansions, and international trade and joint venture partnerships.

Assistance includes:
- Site Location: CAREDF will assist prospective industries with land and/or building searches based on provided criteria.

- Site/community tours: Once a location(s) is determined, CAREDF will provide a tour of the communities selected to include, as needed, meetings with community officials, utility providers, and other individuals that may support relocating industries.

- Expansion Services: CAREDF assists new or existing industries with expansion activities, such as meetings with community officials, utility providers, incentive programs, or other items as needed for the expansion.

- Business Incentives: CAREDF assists new or existing industries with identifying any state incentive programs as well as provides support in the state application process. This includes assistance in securing state tax incentive programs such as: enterprise zones, industrial tax exemptions, or job tax credits.

- Employee Training: CAREDF assists with industries working with state incentive programs involving training assistance as well as identification of local university, college and training service providers.

- Financing, Taxes, Utilities, and Transportation: CAREDF assists with the identification of financing options, local and state tax rates, utility costs and incentive rates and other transportation information as needed.

- Customized Research and Data: CAREDF assists in the collection of relevant business data applicable to the future operations a prospective company may require. CAREDF is the source of the most up-to-date demographic information available pertaining to central Arizona and its municipalities.
