The region is supported by multiple high quality electric providers that are committed to the development of the communities encompassed by the region. In addition to these electric providers, the central Arizona region also benefits from two power generating plants within its borders. These plants add additional power to the Arizona grid, ensuring that there is sufficient capacity for both industrial and residential needs.

WATER
Located in a desert environment, the management of water is of the utmost importance to our region. Western Pinal County has a 100-year proven water supply from subsurface wells, which is a state requirement before new industry can locate to the area. With a proven water supply of superior quality, the central Arizona region has no problem meeting industry’s water needs.
The Cities of Casa Grande and Coolidge are served by Arizona Water Company, a privately-owned water company, while the City of Eloy has its own municipal water service. Additionally, Global Water Resources, through its subsidiaries Santa Cruz Water Company and Palo Verde Utilities Company, provides water and wastewater service to the City of Maricopa.
